I’m taking part in the fairytale reading challenge by Charity Rau. There are 12 prompts, one for each month. You can read the original story or a retelling. There are some of these that I haven’t read before so for those I’ll try to read the original and a retelling. I’m aiming to read at least two for each prompt.

January – I decided to read The Shadow Queen by C.J Redwine and Snow, Glass, Apples by Neil Gaiman & Colleen Doran.

February – I plan to read The Crown by Genevieve Raas. I haven’t decided on the second book yet.

March – I’ve picked A Throne Of Swans by Katherine & Elizabeth Corr. Second book to be decided.

April – This is my favourite month. I’ve read a few Alice retellings already. I haven’t decided if I want to re-read the original and I’m still deciding on a second.

May – Still to be decided.

June – I chose The Puppetmaster’s Apprentice by Lisa DeSelm.

July – I’ve picked The Wrath And The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh and A Legacy Of Storms And Starlight by Victoria Price.
